AdBlue®

NOx-reducing agent ("AdBlue®")
ISO 22241-1:2006-10

AdBlue® is an aqueous solution made up of synthetic urea. In order to meet the criteria of the EURO V and EURO VI exhaust emission standards AdBlue® is part of every diesel-engined vehicle with a SCR catalyzer and is being injected into the exhaust gas flow from an additional tank. The ammonia gained from AdBlue® reacts in the SCR catalyzer with the damaging nitrogen oxides, which are then transformed into water vapor and nitrogen.

ASG Analytik-Service GmbH is accredited for all testing procedures concerning the ISO 22241-1. By now we take care of the regular external quality control of several well-known AdBlue® producers. Depending on agreement the results of the analysis can be sent to you on the same day the samples have arrived at our laboratory. If you need your urea tested for suitability to check if it can be used for AdBlue® production, we offer that service. We also give analytical assistance to clarify in the event of damage through AdBlue®.
