'How Vacuum Ultraviolet Spectroscopy (GC-VUV) simplifies the analyses of traditional and alternative synthetic Aviation Fuels'

This special seminar is organised as a unique workshop with a balanced combination of theory and practise. It will be conducted in cooperation with ASG Analytik-Service Gesellschaft, Aviation Fuel Projects Consulting, and VUV Analytics, Inc..

After an overview of modern production of conventional and alternative high-quality aviation fuels, the focus is on the presentation and detailed demonstration of GC-VUV as a new technique for analysing fuels that is fast, accurate, and easy-to-use. During the practical part of program, you will gain insight into GC-VUV analyses and the advantages that this technique provides.
As part of this unique program we invite you to bring individual kerosene samples from your laboratory as they will be used during the workshop.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Production and specifications of JET A-1, JP-8 und AvGas
  • Sustainable, alternative fuels for aviation of tomorrow
  • Understanding Vacuum Ultraviolet Spectroscopy and the VUV Analyzer™ Platform
  • Analysing aviation fuels using GC-VUV
  • Practical measurement of (your) kerosene samples using GC-VUV
  • Guided lab tour

Laboratory Directors and Managers interested understanding how GC-VUV can reduce costs, increase productivity and improve the quality of kerosene analysis are encouraged to attend. This seminar provides a unique opportunity to network with your colleagues on common issues and challenges.

The workshop will be carried out by ASG Analytik-Service Gesellschaft near Augsburg – easily accessible by train or car or via Munich airport. Attached you find additional logistical information including dates and times along with important registration information.
